Launch control is designed to help the driver generate a quick launch from stand still. Too much power and the vehicle will wheel spin, too little and the engine will bog down. Our launch control remap option limits the low speed rpm, thus limiting the power to the wheels, once the vehicle begins to increase in speed and traction has been established full power is activated.

This feature that is applied to most vehicles in the market, we can remove this feature to enable exceeding the limit for track purposes.

Removing the rev limiter will enable the driver to drive faster by enabling the revs to go further into the redline, with such removal it will lead to increased engine wear and tare due to the increased force whilst pushing the revs further into the redline. We can also apply the rev limiter to a set rev interval.

We can achieve this effect by adjusting the fueling and retard ignition timing on some cars to ignite unburned fuel in the exhaust system ( this will cause a burble or pops and bangs effect ), usually a decat downpipes are required for pops and bangs

Hard-cut limiters (Also known as Popcorn effect) is designed to cut fuel or spark to the engine and can be set at High RPM on diesel vehicles enabling revs to bounce off the limiter.
